# Data backup

Secutify Solo Risk Assessment files (*.solora) can be secured using conventional backup software solutions. Make sure that at the time of backup all instances of the application are closed and no Secutify file is open.

# Backup risk assessments *.solora

Secutify Solo Risk Assessment files are given the file extension *.solora. These files contain the risk assessment including all attached images or files. . The *.solora file is a complete archive file, that contains your entire risk assessment.

# Backup secutify-system data

Secutify Solo Risk Assessment manages its system data in the directory: %APPDATA%\SoloRA\

The system data include:

• the system settings,
• catalogs created by you, including stored documents,
• log files.

To be able to restore the secutify application after a failure, please include the directory %APPDATA%\SoloRA\ in your backup strategy.

# Regular data backup

In terms of information security, you should protect your data. You should therefore perform regular data backups.

All running instances of Secutify Solo Risk Assessment application must be closed at the time of backup. If this is not the case, inconsistent states in the secured data may occur.
